EF has the more tile selections than 2 other roofing companies I got estimates from and if you tell Juan what you are looking for, his experience helped me chose one that I would never would have selected but am so happy I took his advise. I have been a contractor for over 37 years and have dealt with more than my fair share of roof replacement.  Efficient Roofing rates an A+++ in my book. When I called for an estimate they were at my house within 24 hours. The estimate arrived  accompanied by photographs throughly documenting my roof in its current state and an in depth explanation of the work needed and estimates of costs.   They showed up with a full crew and, start to finish, the job was done in 2 days.  The job site was kept ship-shape during the entire process and was left spotless when they were finished. Excellent work and service at a reasonable price. I live in San Luis Obispo. Rafael handled everything, including coordinating with the solar team for my solar panels. Rafael communicated well and everything went as he had explained. Efficient Roofing was recommended to me. The quality of service is top notch.The new roof is better than I had hoped. I must've had at least 7 or 8 different Roofers climb up on my Central Coast roof & then send me their estimates.  I chose Efficient Roofing out of all the rest because Rafael Gonzales & his crew earned the highest User Ratings!  I am very happy to add yet another 5-star rating myself. Rafael (owner) & his entire crew were very prompt, considerate, and did an awesome job cleaning up my yard and wrap-around decks at the end of each workday.  I found each man I interacted with to be kind & respectful - a very pleasant crew!  Rafael, himself, even came back after they'd finished the job to get on a ladder & clean up my bathroom ceiling on the inside where they'd installed one of 2 new Solar Tubes. Now THAT... is a GREAT DEAL!!! The solar tube companies I'd called were going to charge me a LOT more than Efficient Roofing for the exact same tubes & installation.  Plus, I wanted to ensure that those "light suckers" were gonna get WELL-SEALED around their edges up on my roof!  (I've read that it's best to get them installed right BEFORE you replace your roof.) Everything passed the State Inspection just fine, & I also appreciated Rafael's extra time & attention to all my many questions & requests. Their name says it all. Efficient! Good price, good work. Smart, responsive, a pleasure to do business with them. Cutting edge with latest materials, standards, and financing. This business is on top of things. They repaired and re-roofed my home and separate garage in a day and one-half! Other companies used smaller crews and took over a week to re-roof nearby homes, impacting parking and prolonging noise and inconvenience. My neighbors appreciated Efficient Roofing's proficiency. It is my pleasure to write this review. Every homeowner knows who has, or is looking into investing in a new roof how stressful the process can be - especially if the owner isn't familiar with roof details. I am familiar, as a former property manager; I feel qualified to give accolades for the work Efficient Roofing performed. I took in a dozen bids and carefully reviewed each word in response to my requirements and extra requests. Just know that when it comes to the price of the job - you get what you pay for. I don't trust low bids. My roof is "equity."Efficient Roofing gave me a bid higher than my sweet spot, and I am so glad I chose them. My roof was in such bad shape when they tore off the shingles I still feel guilty that they didn't come in higher. Most of the plywood and the facia was rotten and had to be replaced. (See the pics.) The bid included line items which other bids charged extra. I had one bid that wrote into the contract "the right to a change order" on every line item. (The right to charge more $.) Efficient Roofing is HONEST. That's gold! They didn't lay down that cheap, thin cellophane plastic underlayment, they used a substantial, durable material called "Diamond Deck," it felt like Kevlar! $ ! You know that's not cheap! The quality of the job is "Security." $ ! The details of the job are as important to Efficient Roofing as they are to you - even if you don't know it. Of this I am certain. You will be taken care of. The owner, Juan Sanchez, who runs his company with his "talented craftsmen" like a family, and his right hand man, Rafael Gonzales (golden) never leave the job site. One of them is always there. They work harmoniously, quietly, respectfully. The owner works right alongside his team. Who does that? The foreman Tony, is so personable and polite and eagle eyed that I stopped worrying and gave them space to perform their art. I had solar tubes installed. They were so careful and amazingly clean and tidy. What a difference with the natural, bright light. I am so thrilled! I asked for attic vents, which are low profile and do not mess up the roofline. This last heat wave didn't impact the interior temperature of my home compared to last year. That's $ ! They can install solar attic fans and old school attic fans. That's my next project. Efficient Roofing rolled down the street with big, beautiful trucks, a serious operation! I was impressed. They do their own tear off, everything is "in house," nothing is left to chance. They were immaculate. They cleaned up each day better than when they arrived. $ ! Efficient Roofing exceeded my expectations beyond my wildest dreams and quelled my biggest worries. The attention to detail borders on perfection. $ !  I am still marveling at how beautiful MY ROOF IS !, how professional and personable and friendly the crew and principals are, and what a good deal I ended up getting. $ ! Lastly, Efficient Roofing was highly recommended to me by a childhood friend, who works as a building inspector for other cities. That's gold! I SCORED BIG TIME! Couldn't be happier that we chose Efficient Roofing to repair the leak in our roof -  they used a drone to take pictures and also removed tiles showing us the extensive damage - and although the job turned out to be so much more work than we had anticipated - we are so glad that we chose them to do the work All the workers were here when they said they would be -my neighbors all remarked on how hard working they were -they cleaned up after themselves every night -they arranged for their own honey hut so that they didn't have to come in with their dirty boots -all the workers were polite and friendly - The owner came to talk to us at the end of the project to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction - All the paperwork was easily understood and efficiently completed - They worked with our home warranty company without complaint - all communication timely -  highly recommend my husband is a retired general contractor and was very impressed by the whole experience

I highly recommend Efficient Roofing for their quality of workmanship, customer service, and professionalism. Rafael gave me a competitive quote for the two roofs - the main house and a mother-in-law unit in the back. He explained things clearly, and responded quickly to all of my questions. When his crew came, they were on time, and worked amazingly quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality of workmanship. They were able to finish the roofs for two houses in two and a half days. They always cleaned up completely at the end of each day. The two roofs look beautiful. They noticed that caps were missing on our water heater pipes and replaced them, and replaced some rotten fascia boards and other roof boards with no extra charge. Rafael has a drone and provided me with lots of photos of their progress and the final result. He was able to show me close-up photos of a skylight that needed replacing due to a crack. I am extremely happy with the quality of the work. I would definitely recommend them!
